I had an idea for a competition.
Similar to the North County GEB Hops comp for the GEB Slovenian Hops

Let's do a Autumn Malt competition, that brings the Minch Malt supplied to BrewCon attendees to the fore.
Let's showcase this new malt, let's do a Malt Forward beer style comp, BJCP style judged.
Where do we host?
so would there be different categories within this comp?
How different flavor wise is this hook head series to regular ale malt? Unless it's very unique/noticeable it won't make for a very interesting comp imo.

Have read that - I'm looking for the non marketing spiel version
Suck it and see with a smash, its only just been launched at Brewcon so nobody has tried it yet, post how you get on.
While not a single malt brew, looks like a brew could be on the market soon using the Hook head malt. Contemplating a no-sparge brew for that extra maltiness.
