Title: Craft range IPA advice needed
Post by: Smallbeer on May 16, 2016, 06:35:41 PM
Quick question.

Brewed a craft IPA.
My OG was 1050 all good.
Has sat in the fv at 20.2 Celsius, for four weeks, gravity sitting at 1010 for a week now, won't budge directions say it should drop to 1005. Have gently agitated, to no success .

So now for the question :)
Up the temp for a few days or just carry on and cold crash it before bottling ?

Thank guys!

You're at 4 weeks, it's done. Bottle now and enjoy in a few weeks. 1.010 is pretty good, possibly needs a bit more aeration next time or the yeast got a little lazy.

Thanks guys, started the cold crash yesterday , would have loved to get it down a few more points.
Thought with my fermentation chamber and my stc, I'd be the master brewer :D.
