On the Brewcon day it was mentioned by one(or more) of the speakers there'd be notes taken and posted up either here or brewcon fb pg from the talks . Has anything been put up online?
That's a bit tricky for two reasons, some presenters don't want their presentations shared which is a bit of a pita but we have to respect their wishes and secondly if we publish all, those full members that didn't go would get info foc, the contra to that is that a lot of the slides wouldn't make sense to them of course.
Is there one in particular that you are interested in and we can ask presenters permission and ping it onto an email address.
Bren Murphys in particular, he crammed in loads of really good advice (not just slides but a lot of verbal tips also)but I can hardly remember most of it I just remember I was writing it all down and then I stopped after I heard it was all going to be put up on the site. But I do definitely also understand that it's valuable information that the people who were there paid for the privelege of , so it's no bother. Going forward it might be an idea to somehow package all the info in a file for the day that's in it (nxt yr) although there was a lot of info already handed out on the day in the goodie bag. I guess what I'm saying is that if it wasn't written down in the handouts then my sieve like brain can't fekin remember it. Anyway brewcon was fantastic ,so thanks again to all involved.
Most conferences I've attended the presenters put their slides on Slideshare or some similar site, what would the presenters have to lose?we live in an age of information sharing and as CH said they wouldn't make much sense without the talk.
