Anyone going to the Beoir Beerfest in Killarney this weekend?
JohnRm and I will be brewing a few beers throughout the weekend. John will be brewing on a BrewMeister and I'll be brewing on gas.
So if you're there make sure to stop by, say hello, have a beer, talk bollox about grains&hops&yeasts, etc :)

Ragin' I'm missing this but I've Berlin next weekend and then going to France for the Euros so just couldn't do it. Will definitely make the trip down next year (all 8 hours of it!).
I'm sure Berlin will more than make up for it.
@CH: there used to be a full website of prawnography. vids, pics, etc. was hillarious. Unlike that vid though the prawns were all positioned in imaginative ways... :D

I'm so tired. Finally got home and got the car parked up and emptied.
Time for sanitizing, aerating and pitching for 3 beers:
1 - an american brown ale - in this one i accidentally used john's 20min and 0 min hops from his Extra Special Bitter. So now it's an extra hopped english brown ale.
2 - Munich Helles - should be good
3 - A red hoppy saison - it was originally supposed to be a smash saison for the lee valley comp, but i forgot and started it off with the grain bill for an Irish Red, then i decided I wanted the hop profile of an IPA, so.. my Frankenbrau will be delicious.
Also, I was on the radio. And John & I will be on some podcast or other about craft beer and homebrewing.
I've talked to so many people and ran them through the process from grain to beer so many times that my voice if cracked.
I'll try and get some pictures up later on today. I know the beoir crowd were taking a lot of snaps too, so if I see them anywhere I'll link them.
A great weekend all around.

What Eoin said.
Running the demos and bring lots of kit is interesting.
One perturbed chappie had snagged his wristband so tight it was starting to cut off the blood flow to his wrist.
Where does he go? The homebrew tent - 5 seconds and Wirecutter snip later he was back drinking.
Same goes for the brewers - One was looking to bottle off a few from his taps.
Sanitise a few cider bottles and a few caps - 5 mins later benchcapped 2 of his finest.
Great gig, lots of fun.
