Title: Metheglin by Bachus
Post by: Bubbles on June 11, 2016, 10:23:55 PM
Metheglin from award winning NHC member Bachus. Sweet mead with cinnamon, vanilla & hops. Absolutely amazing, really intense flavour. I wish I could make meads like this!

Fantastic balance, even though this is a very sweet mead, there's a balancing acidity that invites another sip. Very sophisticated stuff.

Sounds class. How did you infuse the mead with hops?

Sorry for a late replay. I boiled 5g of Lubelski hops[  5.0% http://beerlegends.com/lublin-lubelski-hops  ] / 10L of batch.  30 minutes boiling.
