I'm actually surprised a thread like this hasn't happened before.
Nobody on here has to explain or justify their want for all things shiny and brew related.
For filling kettle.
I've a few things on my aliexpress wish list that one of these days I'll order.

For yeast washing.

Don't need either but want.
Worse still, I have but I don't need!
@Nigel the trub wouldn't come through that would it?
I saw a fella using it on YouTube and it worked well for him.
Bit more looking into it before committing to buy.
Looks fancy though ;)
I think the idea is great just could see a plug of trub getting stuck in the valve, I see folks drilled their plastic valves to get over that, let us know how you get on after you buy it

Now you have me thinking, a plastic bucket valve rammed up a normal funnel
This on the other hand may do it if it was watertight on the flap that drops down.

Of fancy, no lid though

Just came across this beauty
http://brewometer.net/
It's gone to the top of my wanted list.
Gimme gimme gimme.
Works out about 135 delivered. That's not too bad!
That meter looks good... No more thermowells.
This thread is a bad idea.

I knew it wasn't gonna save me money
Sorry lads I guess that one was too tempting :P
That would be amazing if it could tie into the brewing software and be able to change the temperate automatically when it reaches a certain gravity.
apparently they're working towards brewpi integration.

Anyone in the appliance trade, know if this would fit any standard dishwasher ?
http://www.simplifieddesignllc.com/bens-bottle-washer.php
I did contact them and its $34 for delivery to Ireland.
Sorry luv I just broke the €500 integrated
dishwasher with me bottle washer.
All joking aside if you are serious about washing your bottles follow the hundreds of vids on YouTube where they essentially take;
1. large plastic box
2. Lines of copper or plastic with t's crimped or valves if you want to go fancy
3. Pump capable of blasting up enough through 36-48 bottles and recirc.
Stainless steel dry hopper now that I have blown the budget on a stainless steel fermenter - http://www.brewhardware.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=dry+hop
Anybody used one of these?
Shanna
I have one I got from the US a couple of years back, they are good I prefer to dry hop in the fermenter rather than the keg tho.
The crowd in the uk sell them, bridgewater?
Nothing a sterilised drawstring bag with a few marbles and a piece of catgut couldn't do just as well.
Edit oops just saw on Twitter an Irish HB shopping selling them for the same price I bought mine from the US.

Yes I currently use a paint strainer bag that I boil & sterilise before use. I weight it down with some stainless steel pieces. Its a pain in the area though as the stainless option is easier to clean. Not sure why you reference keg versus fermenter? Surely the dry hopper could be used in either.

You can use the dry hopper in both. I recently had a tap pouring stupidly slowly. I opened it up and it was full of hop matter from my dry hopped beer. Adding it to the FV might just be safer!
Just saw the hvc got dry hoppers in and at a great price, http://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/stainless-steel-dry-hop-filter-for-corny-keg-300-micron-p-3753.html have to use the voucher from brewcon so I might get one.

Can't get them through the neck of a glass carboy although I do have an uber narrow one with bungs either end.
My dry hopping schedule now is just chucking them in!
