Didn't hold out much hope for this - an out of date kit bought cheap, in fact I originally intended adding apple flavouring to make apple cider. Made with 1 kg glucose to 21L and fermented probably slightly too warm at 20 - 22C. Bottled after three weeks, OG 1.036, FG 1.001, ABV 4.6% before priming. Has come very good very quick - taste is perhaps slightly artificial and even a bit watery but I'm pleasantly surprised - this is a very easy to drink perry! Pours crystal clear too if you can avoid sediment.
