Title: Celli taps help
Post by: LordEoin on July 03, 2016, 04:02:25 PM
Hi there!

I picked up a few taps and a tower at a bargain.
Wondering if anyone knows much about them. value, features, problems, etc.
There's 2 beer and 2 stout. The beer seem to have flow control.

pics attached.

Cheers

Look like standard celli taps - go for 50e plus vat each when new

the font is worth a few quid too if its intact as well

Do you know if there's any trick to the flow controls? i opened them up and they control flow 'cones' inside, but i don't see any difference when loosened/tightened

I cant see from the photos but if they're working properly you should be able to adjust externally while pouring and it will actually shut the flow off or to a trickle.

Is your flowcontrol knob just a smooth ball on the outside? they normally have a little lever on them to make it easy to use
