Title: Kildare brewer
Post by: guest1585 on July 08, 2016, 11:02:52 AM
Hello,
Iv been doing all grain batches since last summer, hoping to get a general cert in brewing and the BJCP by the end of the year. What's the story the south Kildare Brewers club? I would like to join, im based in Castledermot.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Stephen, Brendan Murphy (based in Kildare town) was hosting most of the South Kildare brewdays and meets as far as I know. He's in the process of getting a brewery off the ground in Sallins so I'm not sure if he'll be doing much hosting anymore. There's talk of starting a new club in the Naas/Sallins area but it might be too far afield for you?

There are others who brew in South Kildare though. I'm sure they'll be in touch.

Bren and Kellie would be the contacts for the kildare brewers base.

Bjcp and brewing exams after few months brewing  :) you must be in a rush to go Pro

Best pro's come from homebrewing
Don't forget to become full member priority viz BJCP given to Full Members first.
