Hi lads. In taking on my first all grain shortly, and was wondering could people help me out. 2-row, is it wiser to use lager malt over marris otter/pale malt? And I've noticed that the mash doesn't give water volumes, just an overall pre boil volume. Is there a general rule to go by with volumes for mash compared to sparging? I'll be batch sparging for this....mashing at 65, so should I sparge at 75?

The recipe isn't very detailed I know....any help appreciated

Thanks

You should plug it into a recipe tool there are plenty online or you can use Beersmith. I slapped this into Beersmith and it was coming it at 17.3L for mash and 21L for sparge

Just use pale malt instead of 2-row
