Title: Crane Lane
Post by: Rossa on October 26, 2012, 12:26:02 PM
I was working in Crane Lane last night. It's always been a fairly funky venue but they have a huge range of Irish craftbeer now. Great to see. I tried Mi Daza stout. Very nice. Very roasty and bitter. Lovely. Old school stout. If in Cork check it out.

That was my favourite beer from the Irish Craft Beerfest. Absolutely lovely

I was thinking it could rival the Well for NHBC Championship 2014!

Yeah it's a good spot, spent a night in there a few weeks ago.

The back bar must have a dozen taps for Irish craft beer.
The same guy that own's it (Benny McCabe) has I think 6 other pubs around the Cork area. He has also registered the company "Cork heritage brewing company" although the Well contract brew Mi Dazza ata the minute. Open to correction on details, as always I picked them up over pints

Agreed it's a very good stout

Mi Dazza is a lovely stout indeed. It's replaced Beamish for me, when I am in Benny's pubs. I'd say you will see him with his own brewery at some point.
