Title: Belgian Yeast volcano
Post by: krockett on August 01, 2016, 10:42:48 PM
My WLP550 starter is going mental. I had to put it into a pot to stop it ruining the hot press.

Reckon I might have to do another starter afterwards there's so much yeast everywhere.

About 23 I'd say. With most yeast its grand but this one is different. I gather if you drop the temp it can stall so said I'd leave it there and learn a lesson for the main ferment. I'll be splitting my 21 liter batch into two fermenters.
