Title: Hefe carbonation question.
Post by: googoomuck on August 04, 2016, 06:40:15 PM
Hi guys, quick one for ya. I have 19 litres of hefe in the fermenter, planning on bottling Saturday evening. Would 200g of table sugar be OK to prime with? Had a look at a calculator online today but just want a second opinion. Cheers.

You seem spot on to hit 3.5 volumes CO2 which is ideal for this style. I wouldnt like to try going higher ~4 volumes which might test your bottles strength.
