Title: Other uses for all grain bags
Post by: Leann ull on September 04, 2016, 03:42:20 PM
I knew I'd find another use for that redundant bag. Soft fruit season is over and we've buckets of raspberry and strawberry now she has me picking crab and other apples for jelly.
Boil 1.5l water per 2kgs of apples, a lemon and cinnamon stick in the boil and it smells amazing . Let it hang for 12 hours and boil again with sugar 450g per 600ml liquid lifting the scum  off the boil.
Tried cloves last year and they were too much.
