A link here to their facebook site earlier, they have started tasting and there was 260 entries altogether so it will take some time to get through them.

Fair play Tom. Thats some going.
That's great news,well done Tommy :)
Thanks guys for all the messages. Big thanks to capital brewers where the feedback from my brews was much appreciated and my last few meets where I got some advice on a recipe that I messed around with to make this from Stephen and Rich who pointed me in the direction of the Tropical Stout category. Still in shock with the win! ^-^
Fair play. Great achievement

Fair fecks to ya, and if there was ever an example of bringing your beer to a meet and acting on what folks feedback was to make a good beer an excellent beer this is it!

Fantastic work Tom! There's even interest in the recipe on reddit if you'd care to share it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Homebrewing/comments/5fiflo/tropical_stout_winner_of_brewdogs_homebrewdog/
Fantastic achievement, congratulations!
I thought it would have been a cherry sour eisbock that would have won. Fair play 😜
Well done Tommy. Great achievement. Hopefully they'll send some over here so we can all have a taste.

Don't tell em Tommy :)
Ill post the recipe next week, reddit too!
Would be very interesting to see the recipe changes you made batch to batch. Always wonder how people evolve a recipe into an award winning one.
Great achievement, Tom! Congratulations!
