Title: Where are you
Post by: Rats on November 18, 2012, 01:40:42 PM
How about a map where we can put our locations on.Think it would be nice to see who is in your area for some brewing or get together.Think it will make it easier for group buys as well. :-?

great idea, we seem fragmented and more local brew ups would be ideal

Don't think one would like to go through all the members just to see who is in your area for a get together or a brew day.

That way if anyone ever wants to get rid of us they can just program NHBC membership into the GPS targetting system of the missiles and take the whole lot of us out at once....genius idea. :)

Thing about that is it has no details of any members.

Doing the map is easy enough, but unless enough people subscribe to the idea it won't be a success. How about starting a list with the GPS co-ordinates for the closest cross-roads to where you live (don't recommend where you actually live)? If enough people subscribe I should be able to get a map going.
+1 on this
