Title: Yeast nutrient

Hi lads ... is any one in limerick can borrow a spoon of yeast nutrient for 10l wort... today or tomorrow ?

You can use old, dead yeast as a nutrient if you have any of that around. Bread yeast would work too. Just throw it into the boil to make sure its killed off.

Aha nice one didnt know that ... how much i use ? Have a few satchets of quick bread yeast there 7g each dated 2014 ;)

I normally add a teaspoon of yeast nutrient so I'd say the same for dead yeast.
