I don't think I'll be making this one.
I think I need a few days drying off after the Poland trip.

Sorry, thought I'd already responded to this. Have some work stuff to take care of in the evenings this week, so doubt I'll be able to make it.

Stuck in work but my default answer for points 2 and 3 is "pics or it did not happen" 😉

Well what a great meeting!

Just like Dolly Parton, "Small but perfectly formed!

Thanks to James and Mark we had 3 excellent beers

Now one topic for consideration was another club competition:

Basically its a Smash type comp:

Use a Minch base Malt ( to support them - maybe blagg a prize)

Club will supply 100 gms of hops (variety is TBA)

You are free on water treatment/mashing/yeast used* and any other variables.

* You are encouraged to use 2 different yeasts or a single yeast at two radically different temperatures.

You will be allowed 2 entries, if you go the radical approach you maybe even awarded some browny points for diversity!

We can discuss this at next weeks Emergency* Meeting in the Boro (yet to be announced !!)

*why Emergency? Why not!

We talked about different competitions for next year over in Poland. A few ideas were thrown around but nothing agreed people there. A Belgian, imperial and fruit addition competition were all mentioned.

Our ideas tonight were more about research/experimentation/whackyness as opposed to just brewing great beers to a style guidline.!

After all, most of us can do that!
