Title: keg posts
Post by: tipp brewer on December 11, 2016, 08:13:51 PM
Ok I kind of know the answer to this before I start but what the hey. I got some corny kegs about two years ago and decided to clean them out and use to ferment out the apple juice. Anyway soaking away in oxy at the moment but for the life of me I can't get the posts off, I ve a crescent wrench and tried giving it a few taps with a hammer, wondering if the oxy and a good sanitation will be enough to clean the beer line to the point that it will be ok for the juice without being disassembled?

Sorry scrap that last message, managed to get the posts off. It always helps to turn them the right way.

Top tips if you are every stripping and cleaning  more than 1 always return the posts dip tubes lids etc back onto the same keg and not as I did once with 10 and discover that they are not all identical
