Title: Food-safe Glue
Post by: Bubbles on December 16, 2016, 11:00:40 AM
Anyone know if there is such a thing as a food-safe superglue that I can use for home brewing purposes?

It's for gluing two pieces of a siphon. The glue itself won't touch the beer, but I'd be concerned about immersing the glued item in an acid-based sanitiser.

Cheers.

Cyanoacrylate has been used to stitch wounds since ww2.
Not sure if that means it's good safe...

Cheers John. CH suggested silicon as an alternative, so I might end up using that.
