Title: Oatmeal Stout
Post by: Padraic on December 01, 2012, 02:44:00 PM
Does anyone know where I can find any of these beers in Dublin? Offy preferably! And one of the 330ml one if at all possible!

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Young's Oatmeal Stout
Maclay's Oat Malt Stout
Broughton Kinmount Willie Oatmeal Stout
Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout
Goose Island Oatmeal Stout
McAuslan Oatmeal Stout
McNeill's Oatmeal Stout
Wild Goose Oatmeal Stout

I appreciate there are other oatmeal stouts but these are the bjcp recommended ones and I'd like to go down that road if possible!

I've had a sip of it and it's a good beer, in fact the Rogue beers are all great!

The Rogue is strangely classed as a American rather than an oatmeal stout by the BJCP. Unless there is a Shakesphere stout without oatmeal as well?

Yea BJCP have that down as an American Stout instead of being an Oatmeal Stout.
