right I have been putting my brews in to barrels with 50g of sugar up to now.
but now I would like to put some into bottles.
so how much priming sugar should I use per bottle.
Use this Calculator, http://www.brewersfriend.com/bottling-calculator/
Actually it's this one :-[, http://www.brewersfriend.com/beer-priming-calculator/
Consider "batch priming" as it will give you a more consistent, predictable result.
is there a ratio of sugar to water for batch priming?
Just enough to get it dissolved and not burn
Calculators depending on vol and style in beersmith it's anywhere between 80 and 120g for a typical 5gal batch, be very careful on the high end and get you numbers right
