I just finished a kegerator and ferm chamber build and have a few empty kegs.
I have a dubbel ready to brew and am using wy1214.
I normally bottle my Belgians but I want to start to fill a few kegs.
Has anyone kegged a dubbel ? How long do you leave it in the keg? What was your process?
Should I just purge the keg and leave it for a 8 weeks in the kegerator and then carb a couple of weeks before I want to drink or start carbing from the start?
Thanks
It's doesn't have a secondary fermentation so it doesn't need to clean up any fermentation byproducts if you're force carbing, in saying that the beer itself going into the keg should be conditioned appropriately

Thanks Hingo, its more an ageing and conditioning question. How long would you leave it in the keg ?
I won't batch prime in the keg and will be carbing with co2.
Can I transfer and purge the keg and carb a couple of weeks before I want to drink or should I carb it from the start?
