I can imagine the nay sayers on there already!:
"The answers NO - Now what was the question!!"
So what does a progressive NHC think of this??

At the risk of sounding like a nay sayer, I'm wondering who would do the selling? Even if its for charity it still needs to be legal!
Think its a good idea though. ;)
It's a great novelty idea, and I'll probably make my own for next year,
but:
- anyone who wants one can just make their own.
- unless you put the whole giant advent calendar in the fridge you'll have warm beers.
- unless you're already licensed to sell beer, you can't.
- shipping might be steep.
Sell the box for about €30 or so and give the beers for free to the guy that buy the box.No law in giving away free beer.
::)What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over ::)
I was at a Xmas fair recently somewhere deep in Country Limerick, and there was a stall selling mulled wine spices, and giving away a bottle of home made red wine with it! I sampled the mulled wine, and it was very nice, and I didn't have the heart to tell them that what they were doing was probably illegal, as it would most certainly have ruined their Xmas, plus it's not my job to do so. They were also selling the red wine kits.
QuoteNot quite. If the guy has to buy the box to be given the beer then the law doesn't permit that.
He'd have to be given the beer first and then he could buy the box if he wanted to, or not.
No, he can't even be given the beer....
