Title: Jelly Bean
Post by: admin on November 10, 2012, 08:08:56 PM
Fantastic. Only put it on last night. The butter project really makes a difference... everything is sooo smooth. Most impressive release since Ginger Bread.

Anyone else got it?

You are probably not an Iphone fan shane, and I've never had one, but I need to get a work phone, so I presume that the Iphone 5 would be way better than the S3 that I currently have? I could just get work to take over the bill of the S3, but I'm thinking that I could get the Iphone 5 and they take over the bill, as the company do not cover android devices. I don't want to have two phones, so would probably drop the samsung, although I do like it, and was thinking of upgrading to the S4 when it came out, but I don't know if I like samsung enough to pay for a seperate bill.

I've just got the pricelist for the different phones, and I notice that the S3 is only €10 cheaper than the Iphone 5, which seems strange?

S3 is a top of the range phone. I would imagine you'd get used to the iPhone 5, but I wouldn't class it as better. The S3 should be faster.

I suppose it's just a chance to see what the Iphone 5 is like for nothing, and if I don't like it I can always give it back and revert back to the S3.

QuoteYou'll get more rides if you have an iPhone 5 I'd say.

I'd say the wife doesn't give a monkeys what phone I have! She's not impressed by "how cool is my phone talk" as it is, so I might even get less rides!

HTC Desire S running 2.3.5 Gingerbread
SWMBO has original Desire, not sure version.

I also have a B&N Nook Tablet.
This has a locked Android, but I've got an SD card with Cyanogen Mod 7 so its running Droid 2.3.7 Gingerbread.

I'm not an apple fan either.
I put 'sent from my iPad' in my Outlook email sig for a bit which raised a few eyebrows!
