Title: Co2 Connector for regulator?
Post by: garciaBernal on March 06, 2017, 09:24:12 AM
I got a Co2 tank from a friend and bought my own regulator but I seem to have an extra piece I need to purchase to connect the regulator. First time kegging so appreciate any info on this. There should be a pic attached of both.

Hey, that connector looks like the connector on my mixed gas bottle. Are you sure that this is just a CO2 cylinder and not mixed gas?

It could very well be mixed gas. My friend just has it in his house for buying in commercial kegs for parties at his house. I guess he presumed he was giving me Co2. Balls. Thanks for spotting that.

Check dimensions first

To be fair I just actually read the label on the bottle and it's a 50/50 gas. I'm probably better off just getting the 100% Co2 tank right? He's having a root around for another tank for me.
