Hi everyone, my name is Barry and I'm a web developer from Limerick. I've been into craft beer for years and this year my goal was to take the plunge into homebrewing. I recently did a course with Treaty City Brewery and my equipment has arrived so all is set for my first Brew Day on Sunday when I attempt a pale ale. I'm going to set up a blog to document my brewing successes and failures.

Hi Barry
Welcome to the forum! There are few other homebrewers based around Limerick and Tipp too. We try to meet up a few times a year so keep an eye out for that.
What kind of a set up have you ordered? The Treaty City course looked interesting, only for the day didn't suit I would have signed up.

Hi all, thanks for the welcome. Using the starter all grain kit from the Homebrew Company.

First brew day got delayed by a week which unfortunately means my plan of having a few bottles to open on Good Friday has gone out the window. That said I'm looking forward to give it a go on sunday.
Will definitely keep an eye out for meetups
