Title: First All-Grain - Advise on ingredients needed
Post by: coolkidirish on March 29, 2017, 12:44:57 PM
Hi Guys

It's my first time trying an All-Grain brew. I've been using kits all along, but decided with the recent sale in HBW to go for the Bulldog All in One Brewer.

I want to try a Brewdog Receipe I saw (Citra picture below).

So it says I need Crystal 150 & Caramalt....but are Crystal and Caramalt not the same thing?

I assume Crystal 150 is referring to the EBC which is fine, but how do I know which Caramalt I need?

Thanks in advance

Cillian

Pretty much, you'd probably get away with just using a really pale/light crystal malt.
