Title: Beer in leaking corney
Post by: revel_and_chaff on April 10, 2017, 10:24:46 AM
So I came down this morning to find that a corney I was using to carb up an APA had leaked and used up the rest of my gas tank. I have a replacement lid, but I was wondering if the beer will be ok to be left for a day or two while I'm waiting for it to be delivered? I'm hoping that at least the blanket of Co2 will remain on top of the beer and prevent contact with the outside air...does anyone have any experience with this?

Ian

Should be OK.
Once you get the refill make sure you check all seals with a squirty bottle of starsan.
