Title: Dublin Maker 2017
Post by: Shane Phelan on May 07, 2017, 10:28:16 AM
The open call for Dublin Maker closes next week, we have been doing it the last 3 years and it's quite an enjoyable event. I think we have got more people into brewing from the Maker events than any other event.

Any interest in running it again this year?

If anybody is around Dublin on Saturday morning or afternoon between 10:00 & 18:00 and would like to give us a dig out by volunteering to to help man the NHC stand for a few hours we would be grateful? Please PM me or update the thread below with time you can attend. Details of the Dublin Maker are here http://www.dublinmaker.ie/

This is a really great event - the kids will love it.

If you are helping - try to pick a slot - say between 2 and 3, where you can man the stand and give the lads who are there since 8/9 a break.

Gonna be GREAT !

Thanks really appreciate that. Anybody else want to come along and meet the public & explain that we don't brew in the bathroom or the hot press 😋

A big thank you to everybody who helped out yesterday in Merrion Square for the Dublin Maker. Huge interest in the stand & especially the boil kettle, hops & stir plate. I would anticipate a modest increase in membership as a result.
