Hi,
I got an e-mail about renewing my membership, which I fully intended to do.
However, it said membership renews annually which made me think it would just automatically renew and I'd get a e-mail with a link to pay or something. Not so, it seems.
So, I've now tried to renew manually but I can't see how you do this. All I can find is a form that looks like it's for new members to sign up and pay.
Am I missing something? Is there a specific renew membership page somewhere that I am just not seeing?
Thanks for any/all help.
There's a link right under the search bar.
Actually ignore that...seems to be for first timers.
Cheers, but therein lies my problem. Everything to do with membership seems to be to do with becoming a new member rather than being an existing member wishing to renew...
On a side not how do we find out our renewal date ? Also interested if the process is automatic,i think last year mine renewed automatically but can't be sure now. ;D

Hi, the process is the same regardless!

hover over "profile", click "account settings" then click "paid subscriptions" on the left, there's a button to click there that'll direct you to paypal
hover over "profile", click "account settings", hover over actions then click ...
With all this hovering you'll be flying ;)
I have a recurring sub which nabbed funds on 22nd April but my membership shows finished :(
We defo need to review this as something is broken.
it's an issue with PayPal I believe, the same thing has been happening with Boards.ie and their recurring subs, for over a year now.

John I fixed you up. I'm away for business right now but I'll take a look when I get back

Cool, that worked and I checked the recurring payment option too so it should not involve human intervention next year :-)
I think the renewal notification e-mails and the intuitiveness of the steps/process need to be rethought though...
Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for all the help.
