Title: Cider priming question
Post by: Chacmool on May 17, 2017, 08:00:03 PM
I want to batch prime my first attempt at cider. Is there a specific cider priming calculator or can I just use a beer one like the brewers friend calculator?

it's the same calculation for cider and beer so any of them will do. I've used cloudy apple juice to prime my last couple of batches, the sugar content is listed on the carton so you can figure out how much you need from that.

Cheers. Just used dextrose and brewersfriend priming calculator, so we'll see how it goes.
