Title: Roasted Barley

Can anyone tell me if roasted Barley has to be mashed or can it just be steeped if I want to use some to hack a kit?

Does not have to be mashed.
Could be cold steeped.

Thanks, I had been reading this thread, was just not sure whether roasted barley contained enzymes or not.

Nope, Its been nuked - so it does have a half-life  :o
