Hey, I pulled together some thoughts on my recent visit to Minneapolis for Homebrew Con. I'll try and edit together an ICB Show from the bits and pieces I recorded, but until then check out my review here:

I really had a great time. I spoke as part of a panel on international homebrewers and had 7minutes to describe my setup and give a summary of the Irish homebrew scene. I hope I did you all proud. I believe the panel will be released as an episode of Chop and Brew so if I got anything wrong let me know! Since I was speaking the AHA let me in for free, the cost is around $250 so well worth it. I just had to pay for flights and a hotel (shared a room to save money)
If anyone is thinking about going to homebrew con I highly recommend it. In fact, there is so much brewing knowledge here I challenge someone to propose a talk and see if it's accepted! Represent Ireland and Irish brewers. One of the things I was amazed by was the amount of legendary homebrewers that were there, and so easy to talk to. Most of the homebrewing knowledge in the world was in that room and to share in it all you had to do was stick out your hand! If someone who is better than networking than me went over, we'd have the next 10 keynote speakers for Brew Con sorted.
