Title: Stainless Steel 300 Mesh Hop Filters on Amazon
Post by: Bazza on July 11, 2017, 02:05:43 PM
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Homebrew-Spider-Filter-Stainless-Steel/dp/B01MR6L4ZI/ref=pd_sbs_201_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=ATMB3944SQ867RFAMM83

Anybody any experience with the above?

7 quid is a great price - if they're any good, that is.

Just wondering how good they are for repeated use in terms of corrosion, staining, falling to pieces in liquid, etc

Cheers,

-Barry

I bought two of these they work well but just note that the lid does not have any mesh filter so there is a possibility of hop matter escaping through there. Not so much a problem if you just set it and forget it as opposed to agitating the filter.

Thanks Mick. Think I'll go ahead and order a couple  :)

I've had a couple for a while and they're pretty battered around shape wise on the mesh part but work fine.
