Hi All,
Following on from our brewday in Brewbot back in June.
The resultant brew (a Spitfire clone) has been conditioning in a wooden pin (supplied by SPBWNI) for most of the summer, but now she's ready to be unveiled to the world.
Mark Hutchinson from SPBWNI has kindly offered to host the unveiling in his gaff in Finaghy in the next couple of weekends, but would like to get a decent showing from our club to make the event worthwhile.
He's talking about kicking things off around lunchtime on the most suitable day, with light refreshments provided. Best bet is to take the No 8 bus or we could organise lifts there, as long as one or two of us are happy to settle for a single pint.
Anyway, please stick your name down against all afternoons that suit. I'll probably close this poll on Sunday evening.
As ever, this event is open to new members as well as old :)
Cheers,
-Barry
Voted for a couple of Sundays there.
I may be able to make a few of the Saturdays, but I won't know until I see this seasons fixtures, which kick-off on the 8th.
Just locked the poll. Sunday 17th it is.
I've informed Mark from SPBWNI and he's put it out in their newsletter.
Anyone else (bar the 4 who voted) up for this event?
Kickoff is around lunchtime on Sunday 17th in Finaghy. I'll follow with further details.
Cheers,
-Barry
Just bumping this event.
Starts between 1 & 2pm in Finaghy (PM me for exact address). There will be light refreshments and the chance to taste our brew from a wooden pin.
So, who wants to come for a couple of Sunday afternoon pints from the wood? We can arrange lifts or share taxis as well.
List so far:
1 - Bazza - (Barry)
2 - Roo (Ruairi)

Yeah, they've demilitarised in recent years and now engage solely in positive community initiatives.
