Title: Trouble's new IPA
Post by: admin on January 15, 2013, 11:02:31 PM
Brian (Dempsey) and I were in Trouble Brewing today and we were given samples of their new IPA straight from the 'fomenter. Very nice it was too, and I'd be happy to drink it of an evening. And I intend on doing so! ;)

We had a little contest to guess the hops, and I got two out of three, but Paul pointed out that I had basically named so many that I was eventually going to be right anyway.  :-[

Without giving the game away it's Columbus, Cascade and Galaxy -- I've no idea of the grain bill, but this one is all about the hops.

QuoteYeah I said to Paul that ATG is a little awkward for me ...

Thought you were gonna say that you are having a vote to change it to the 29th in the Brew Dock ;)

I would say it is not too bitter,as an IPA it would be on the lighter side of hoppy. Suits me as I like it that way so I would give it the thumps up,especially as cask.
