In my quest to get a reasonably accurate water profile (without testing it myself!), I came across this page on Irish Water --> www.water.ie/water-supply/water-quality/ where put in your address and in the following page that loads, scroll down to the end of the page and select "You can view more detailed results of all samples taken for your Water Supply Zone here" and you can get test results for sulphate, chloride and sodium (among other things except no calcium or bicarbonate!) for 32 separate occasions between 20-Jan-2014 and 03-Oct-2016 to be exact
P.S. Past performance is no guarantee of future performance... but it's good enough ;)
Good find, I feel guilty for not paying my water charges now!

Well, don't get too excited. Compared results with the tests we did some time ago (in my area) and can see completely different numbers.
So no idea how accurate those reports are ...
The report will be accurate on that particular day but the water supply round here changes all the time so it can't be treated day to day
Yeah the Northside is a mixed supply, so our water changes from brew to brew. I believe some of the southside supply is a single reservoir though, which makes it stable. Same applies around the country - if you know what sort of supply you have, you can start to make some estimates.
