Title: Mangrove Jacks's Lord Finster
Post by: mladen on November 14, 2017, 10:25:17 PM
Hi,

My first brew! So exciting! Not really - quite simple. Hoping for decent beer.
So I have just taken the first reading and it seems stable after ten days, will check again tomorrow. I am only wandering if I need to add carbonating sugar? Instructions say nothing about it and I have already added 500 g of dexterose.

thanks..

You will need to add carbonating sugar (directly to bottles or in a botttling bucket) assuming you let it fully ferment out.
FYI i tried this kit. I had to dump it. Hopefully you have more luck  ;D

Damn... I did not find any positive reviews on this kit. I have tasted it after first fermentation and I must say I am not too happy. Even though I wouldnt really know what to expect. Let us give it a couple of weeks and see what happens.

If you want about 30 bottles of this muck from about 6 months ago to see what it is going to turn out like gimme a shout  :(.

Worst kit I've done.

I wanted to update on this post. 2nd fermentation is done and beer is almost gone. My criteria is low, butI did not find it sooo bad. Well, it was not sensational but it was drinkable. :)
