Title: Water Meter

Anyone ever bought and used a good instant water meter? I've just installed a tap at my BK and would like to just flow straight into it. I've found these so far:

The second one looks better.

are they ok for potable water :-\

If it wasn't and I boiled it should be grand right?

You could leech chemicals into the water that a boil would not clear.
