The beer isnt the problem its the battered sausages and chips in the chipper next door to the pub on the way home :)

Beer is liquid bread, high carbohydrate belly food, if you consume a lot along with your other carbs for the day, breads, spuds, biscuits etc, and not work it off as energy you get fat on your waistline where men predominantly do. so if you intend on having a few drop the other carbs significantly that day.

Dead right, Ive had to cut way back on food to allow for the extra calories!!
