I'm going to be making a manifold for a mash tun & trying to decide how to go about it.
I'll also be making a wort chiller from 10mm copper tube.
Would copper coils be difficult to make a manifold from? I'm wondering if it will be difficult to make it flat to the bottom of the cool box.
I'm wondering if, instead of getting different connectors, could I use a get a tee connector & snake the coil down 1 side of the cooler & back again to make a loop.
they are handy enough to make out of copper like below

Or just but a long bazooka and attach it straight to the tap

I know they're easy to make, just not sure how easy it will be using copper coil instead of straight rod copper.
I'm thinking of getting 15m of coil to make a chiller & manifold.
What I want to try is get a 2m length of the coil & a single T connector. So the manifold will be a single length of pipe king of like a circular bazooka with bends.
That would leave 13m to make a chiller with.
:there's a rubber seal which seems to be glued in place on the inside of the cooler. Would you think it's ok to use it or should I replace it?
It's quite soft but the nipple just barely fits through so would make a good seal.
The cool box is from Aldi. 24.99 for a 37l. It was originally 50 if anyone is looking for 1.
