Title: New Limerick Brewer
Post by: meabhar on December 21, 2018, 11:55:31 PM
Hi all!

I've made about 4 batches of bitter, IPA, American amber ale over the last three years.
I've just made a tasty batch of IPA.
I notice the Limerick group had messages and it tailed off. A mention of a WhatsApp group.
Anyone active in this online? When is the next meeting in Mother Macs or elsewhere?

By the way, does anyone try using low mineral water brewing. I know there are libraries on minerals in beer, but I regularly bring back drinking water from a well in Connemara, which has very low mineral content, and wondered if anyone has tried anything similar and with what results.

And don't worry - have a homebrew! (sorry, that's stolen from Charlie Papazian's "Joy of Homebrewing", which I bought years ago and is a great source.
