Title: Malts & Grains - Where to buy?
Post by: phildo79 on December 29, 2018, 09:41:53 PM
Called into Nature's Way this morning for some supplies. As you can guess from the subject of the thread, they no longer sell malts / grains. This is somewhat of a bummer. I asked the owner if she knew of anywhere else I could source them and she said to try online. I have had a look at geterbrewed.com and their prices are pretty similar to Nature's Way. Only slight gripe is the £5 postage. Is this just something I am going to have to take on the chin or is there somewhere else I can get grains? Either local or online?

Sadly yeah, I'd get most of my stuff from geterbrewed. You can try brewuk, the postage is only £2.99

I used to collect my GEB order as I'm local but paying delivery is now the only option. I took it on the chin as I've found them cheap as anyone and good to deal with.

Brew UK is a bit of a rip-off for postage to NI unless you are buying under 500g in weight. Over 1.5kg costs £16.50 and when you're buying grains, you can rack up a couple of kilos quite quickly.

Fair enough, I've only really used them for bits of equipment.
