Title: How long does yeast stay in suspension?
Post by: Mossy on January 24, 2019, 03:46:55 PM
Hey, I brewed a beer before Christmas and moved it to a secondary fermenter on around the 13th of December. I'm going to bottle it next week but I just want to make sure that there would still be enough yeast in the beer to eat the sugar drops and carb the beer.
Have I left it soo long or will I be ok?
Thanks

So long as everything's clean and sealed and low temp , you should be fine.
I'd be more concerned with infection than yeast viability at this stage.

Cool thanks. Everything seems ok infection wise. It looks clean and tastes good.
Cheers
