Title: OT: Water carbonation
Post by: dahamsta on May 14, 2019, 10:23:49 PM
Sorry for the OT post, at my wits end trying to figure this out and the brewing community seems like the best place to get answers -- I read a while back on Reddit that carbonating your own water at home is fairly simple with a carbonation cap (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Merrday-Stainless-Carbonation-Drink-Bottles/dp/B07CZBQ2FH) and an CO2 canister, but I'm not sure how to go about buying and refilling the CO2 in Cork?

I realise I can just buy it from Lidl, or a Sodastream, but sure you can do the same with beer. :) I just want to scope it out and see how much it would cost me, see if it's viable.

Welcome, Corkonian.
AJ Edge (I think), formerly Munster CO2 in Mayfield refill, possibly supply also.

You'll find them here...

Thanks johnrm, I can pass there the next time I'm heading to Cork, have a look. I'm down past you on the way to Youghal. :)
