I have searched all over the internet to buy in Ireland. I need 5/16 ID and 3/16ID tubing for my beer and gas lines. Does anyone have any tips on where to buy it? Also which is the best, PVC, ploythene, or silicone?
The beer and gas lines are measured o/d. I think the walls are 1/8" thick (together), so 3/8" beer line gives you 1/4" i/d. But I'm not in the pub RN, I'll repost if I'm wrong.
I get mine off eBay for not much, but then I have access to a northern address.
I love Inn Cellar Equipment in the UK. Not sure if they stock pipe, but they're the soundest people in the industry.

I bought some of these as I was sick of the rigid line that came with my corny.

They work but are metric measured so not exactly the same. You really have to force it into the JG push fit or they leak. They are also a fucking nightmare to remove from the push fit.
www.thehomebrewcompany.ie stock it.

I see 5/16 on homebrewcompany but not 3/16 beer line.

I use 3/16 ID tubing. It's more commonly used in the US and as such I could only get it via Amazon.com.

That's OD
3/16" inner diameter is 5/16" outer diameter, in those clear plastic tubing, if you're using John Guest fittings.
