Title: Thermometer for barbeque
Post by: RichC on March 17, 2013, 11:17:29 PM
Any of you guys know where I'd get a thermometer for my barbeque. I want to drill the lid and fit the thermometer on so it needs to be threaded on the back, they usually come with a wingnut. Found some on amazon but they dont deliver to ROI(find that a lot with amazon-pain in the ar$e). Tried woodies-no luck, tried 'The Orchard' in Celbridge-no luck

I use one of these, works well, no need to stand over those slow cooked ribs:

or

if amazon won't deliver.

Or, you could get a thermopocket and put whatever thermometer you like into it.  I use this one with a pt100 probe in my hlt:

Johnrm maybe a quick explanation of how that works? I mean will they deliver to Dungarvan and is it going to cost a bomb?

@deadman, follow the link, it will explain all.
The nearest point to Dungarvan is Waterford or Midleton.
If you happen to be passing a location with some degree of regularity you're sorted.
