Title: 90 degree elbow on beer line just before the tap
Post by: delzep on October 22, 2019, 10:03:10 PM
Would this be a bad idea? Space is tight in my fridge and this would prevent any chance of the beer line kinking when the door is closed. Just not sure if it would cause foaming issues

what size beer line are you using? While a lot of people step down 3/8 -> 3/16 to control line lengths and foaming, a hidden benefit is that 3/16 coils and bends better than 3/8.

If you are not using 3/16 already it might be worth a look in.

Shouldn't be a problem

No problem on my system.
I've got compensator taps though so perhaps that helps. I've got 3/8ths line feeding my taps and 90' elbows about an inch before the taps. No foaming whatsoever. Go for it!
