Title: New brewer - South Dublin
Post by: daithibrew on June 06, 2020, 08:22:14 PM
Hey, just getting started in brewing.
I am skipping the kit brewing and jumping in with a Grainfather that should arrive next week.
Currently planning my first brew, considering a Sierra Nevada clone. Lots still to learn.

Welcome and fair play jumping right in. It really is the best way. Lots of activity in your neck of the woods so dont be afraid to ask questions and make contact with the south Dublin lads.

Or if closer to Bray, you can try Garden County Brewers.

To be fair any of the clubs are great sources of info (& chat, good brewing buddies, etc).

Cheers, I figure its a waste of time to not attempt
I see the south Dublin groups meet up in Blackrock, that isn't too far for me.
My main debate right now is if i go with bottling or kegging. I have not invested a cent in that just yet and i can see the pros and cons of both. This forum has been a great resource the last few weeks.

Who do I need to poke to get access to the members area? - I  paid my membership a few days ago and id like to use the discounts to make some ingredient orders.
